Pierce Anderson is a mechanical engineer and Supervisor of Data Analytics at ARC Resources Ltd., with over 11 years of experience in the oil and gas industry. He is known for his collaborative approach and data-driven solutions to improving organizational efficiency. In his current role, Pierce leads a dynamic team of analysts and developers, collaborating closely with geologists and engineers. Their focus is on executing impactful data analytics projects that drive value across various disciplines, including geology, development engineering, drilling, completions, production, and sustainability. Outside of his professional endeavors, Pierce is passionate about biking, basketball, Formula 1, and coffee. He enjoys leveraging data to enrich these personal interests
Kent Burkholder
Vice President, Decision Frameworks
Kent Burkholder is a Vice President at Decision Frameworks. He joined the team in 2003. Kent is an expert decision quality and probabilistic analysis advisor, instructor, and consultant. He is highly skilled in strategy framing, economic modeling / investment analysis, uncertainty assessment, and all levels of probabilistic analysis, including value of information analysis. Kent has a B.A.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering with Honours, University of British Columbia. He is a Fellow of the Society of Decision Professionals. Kent previously worked as the Practice Manager, Oil and Gas Business Consulting, Middle East and Asia at Schlumberger, Managing Director of Merak Projects UK Ltd, and Reservoir Engineer at Petro-Canada. Kent lives by the extremely complex mathematical formula, N+1. How many bikes or skis should you own? N+1, where N is the number you own today.
