Emerging Energy: Challenges and Opportunities
Plains Midstream will provide a brief overview of its midstream business model including transportation, fractionation, storage, and marketing of natural gas liquids (ethane, propane, butane, and condensate) as a background to the emerging energy opportunities and challenges ahead. Further information will be shared on decarbonization studies and highlighting the opportunity to expand into future molecules including storage of hydrogen in salt caverns.
This presentation is sponsored by Plains.
About Plains
Based in Houston, Texas, Plains delivers critical energy resources that power progress, fuel innovation and enable quality of life. We own and operate one of the largest networks of critical midstream infrastructure across the U.S. and Canada, including assets that connect major crude oil and natural gas liquids (NGL) producing regions to key demand centers and export outlets in North America. On average, we transport more than 8 million barrels per day of crude oil and NGLs.
