Ryan Capri, EIT, CET
Production EIT, Canadian Natural Resources Limited (CNRL)
Ryan Capri is a production EIT at CNRL, one of the largest Canadian E&Ps with additional assets in the UK and Africa. At CNRL, he manages a ~14,000 boe/d with an active drilling program at their Brooks asset.
He has 6.5+ years of total upstream experience working with multiple E&Ps (e.g., CNOOC, Crescent Point, Veren, Ovintiv, and CNRL) and service providers (e.g., Element, Baker Hughes, Liberty Energy) in both Canada and the US.
He holds a diploma in Petroleum Engineering Technology (PET) from SAIT and a BSc in energy engineering with distinction where he was heavily involved with both the Society of Energy Engineers (SEE) and Petroleum & Energy Society (PES).

Process EIT, Propak Systems Ltd.
Hanson Leong is a process EIT at Propak Systems Ltd., where they specialize in designing, engineering, fabrication, and construction of oilfield facilities and equipment.
He has ~3 years of process engineering experience split between Propak in their Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR) business unit and Greenlane Renewables before as a process engineering and product lifecycle management / enterprise resource planning intern.
He holds BSc in chemical engineering with a minor in energy and environment from UofC.

Kristian Martens is a client success manager at Rystad Energy, an independent research and energy intelligence service provider.
He has 7+ years of total oilfield experience split with multiple E&Ps (e.g., Pengrowth, Ember Resources, NAL Resources, Pine Cliff Energy) and methane reduction and energy analytics service providers (e.g., Carbon Connect International and Rystad Energy).
He holds a diploma with honours in Petroleum Engineering Technology (PET) from SAIT and a BS petroleum engineering from the University of Wyoming where he was heavily involved with SPE, the American Association of Drilling Engineers, and the International Association of Drilling Contractors.

Thomson Midzi is a pipeline integrity EIT at TC Energy’s North American natural gas energy transportation operations.
He has 3+ years of total midstream experience working with them as an intern in process safety and value integrity, a junior integrity EIT contractor, analyzing smart pigging systems, and now works with stress corrosion cracking (SCC) threat and program and management.
He has a BSc in chemical engineering from UofC and volunteered with their SPE student chapter, the Petroleum & Energy Society (PES). He volunteers with SPE Calgary YP for ~2 years.

Michael Pereira, MASc, PEng
Reservoir Engineer, Athabasca Oil Corporation
Michael Pereira is a reservoir engineer at Athabasca Oil, an E&P with assets in thermal oil, light oil, and interests in the Duvernay.
He has 9+ years of total oilfield experience between multiple E&Ps (e.g., Husky, Cenovus, and Athabasca Oil) in production, environmental, facilities, and now reservoir. He also has research experience in nanoparticles in EOR, oil sand tailings settlement in enhanced gravity environments, and reservoir simulation to better understand the geomechanics of cold heavy oil production with sand (CHOPS) with USask.
He holds a BASc in petroleum engineering from URegina and a MASc in civil engineering from USask. He has been heavily involved with the SPE Calgary YPs and Calgary Section for 3+ years.
