Wireline 101 Lunch & Learn
Wireline technology is a critical, century-old oil and gas intervention technique that involves deploying specialized toolstrings into wellbores via wireline cable. These tools are used for both logging (acquiring subsurface petrophysical and geophysical data) and well intervention (mechanical services).
This presentation will focus on electric wireline for cased hole applications. We will explore rig up requirements, data acquisition and how this newly data is used daily for informed decision-making in Western Canada.
